Does the price include drinks?

Of course it includes drinks! Who would want to go on a pub crawl without drinks?

Why Rainey Street, and why are public events only on weeknights?

Rainey Street is easily walkable, and as Austin's newest and weirdest nightlife district it is most deserving of a pub crawl. On weekends our guides are working private events.

What kind of drinks are offered?

There will be 4 drinks, one at each bar. The configuration may change depending on the night, but there will always be at least one cocktail and one other drink (beer/wine/cider).

How are the bars for the crawl selected?

We mix 100 year old bungalows with modern bars high above street level to create a clash of ages.

Where should I park?

The most recommended place is to keep your car at home. If you plan on drinking responsibly, the best parking is at the Mexican American Cultural Center, and is a flat rate of $5. This is only one block from our first bar.

What if I don't feel safe to drive?

Uber home, and come get your car at 8am the next day.

What should I wear?

Whatever you want, you're an adult. Dress nice, but not too nice, if you know what I mean.

How does the crawl work?

Your Party Captain/Guide will bring you from bar to bar buying you drinks, and at places we don't drink at, we will sometimes stop at for a minute to talk about.

Will I meet the other people on the pub crawl?

Yes, there will be a brief mixer at the begining, and you will be seeing, speaking, and drinking with each other. After the crawl is over, it is normal the group to split off and re-visit favorites from the night, or explore other places we passed along the way.

How much walking is there?

Rainey Street is a short district, it's only 3 blocks from one side of the street to the other.

Will I need a mask?

Probably not, but bring one anyway. Most every place has removed its mask policy. It is possible a location could have a mask policy for being inside and at the bar, but everywhere has an outdoor patio area that is mask optional.
